Interesting Tidbits
The fronds of this fern are broadly triangular in outline. Each evergreen frond is dissected into many shiny, dark green linear leaflets.(Lady Bird Johnson) It is found on moist, stony, serpentine cliff crevices and mountain slopes in the west from southern Vancouver Island to the adjacent southern mainland and east of the Coast Cascade mountains. It is disjunct in Quebec where it grows on serpentine ground in the Gaspe Peninsula. (Flora of North America and E-Flora BC)
