Interesting Tidbits
This plant will tolerate most soils as long they are mixed with sand (i.e clay/sand, loam/sand) and also rocky soil. It should be deadheaded throughout the summer to encourage blooms. (WildFlower Centre, LBJ) Thought to be adventive throughout much of of the eastern part of Ontario when found along railways. (Ontario Native Plants 2002) This plant is not native to BC, but is now present.
