Skunk cabbage is found at low to mid elevations,in coastal BC and wet Interior areas. It emits a skunk like odour. Black Bears may eat all or part of the plant. Aboriginals used leaves to line cooking pits. Sensory Aspect: Rancid-smelling plant.
